Select Soccer (Ages 9 to 19)

Our Select Soccer program is offered to players that want a rigorous training and game schedule to challenge themselves and their teams. Our teams compete in the Kentucky Select Soccer League and Kentucky Premier League based on the success of the team. Each team team will schedule a number of tournaments/showcases based on individual team budgets.

Teams are coached by USSF or equivalent licensed coaches under the guidance of our Director of Coaching. On staff, we have a myriad of experienced coaches including current and former high school coaches and former professional players.

10U-14U Program (Ages 9 to 14)

Our U10-U14 Select Soccer program is a one-year commitment and includes fall and spring seasons as well as a six-week winter indoor training. We also provide free weekly Goalkeeper Training Sessions. 

15U-19U Program (Ages 14 to 19)

Our U15-U19 Select Soccer program is a 7 month commitment that covers the late fall thorough spring season. The fees will cover a winter training program, turf field rental, tournament/showcase budget, referees, club administrative operational costs, Veo recording technology, and any available supplemental training such as Goalkeeper Sessions.

Tryouts for all teams are typically held in May/June and players are required to make a one-year commitment to the club depending on age group.

GFC does not charge any assessments to parents throughout the year. However, it is our policy for parents to pay a small travel stipend to coaches when traveling to tournaments to cover their travel costs.

You may be asked to do a one time fundraiser to benefit the club and volunteer at various points throughout the season.
